We recognize that God calls certain individuals to pursue pastoral ministry. The Cameron County Christian Center has been a launch point for a number of those who have experienced a call to ministry.
The Free Methodist Church has established what is known as Ministerial Credentialing Services (MCS) it is committed to helping pastoral candidates in the ordination process.
From the opening of a file to elder’s ordination, MCS guides pastors to ensure that educational and itinerant service requirements are met. MCS offers courses to help candidates meet their educational requirements. Courses are available by correspondence and through the annual J-Term in which two weeks of intensive classes are offered. Conference approved classes are often available to assist in completing required courses. (Check with your conference office)
